Opened in November 2008, ORIC Kelowna Innovation Centre currently has 15,000 square feet available for high-tech start-up companies and anchor tenants.

• Value-adding business support services, including legal, financial, HR and marketing advice
• Facilitated access to markets, educational and research institutions, technology workshops and seminars, sources of capital, mentorship and coaching, market research and business plan development
• The opportunity to engage with a supportive community of business professionals, angels, like-minded innovators, entrepreneurs and professional service providers through regular "Innovation Plaza" networking events

Vericorder Technology and Vineyard Networks are ORIC's first residential client companies. They since have been joined by SituWare and EvolutionaryInk as a "Pre-incubation" client.

New clients are: Qasper, VP Process, OKBC.TV and Pixelsavvy.

ORIC Kelowna hosts also a full staff of the National Research Council of Canada-Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP) and the Okanagan Innovation Fund (OIF) / Southern Interior Innovation Fund (SIIF).

We are also home of the OSTEC-ORIC Business Coach who supports the Okanagan Mentors Program,the Okanagan Science & Technology Council (OSTEC) and the Okanagan Valley Entrepreneur Society (OVES).

Axel Partners, a boutique management consulting company which focuses on strategic planning, M&A, and private equity financing is also located at ORIC Kelowna. Axel Partners provides advisory services to assist with capital raising, the sale of part or all of a business, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate growth strategies.  Their focus is on providing entrepreneurs and shareholders with a successful financial outcome.
